A collection of unmastered, lo-fi songs recorded in my living room on a ZOOM Handy Recorder.
Each song is a literal snapshot of a struggle I have personally endured or experienced as a bystander. From a failing relationship (No Way Out), coping with death (In Your Heart), a struggling Father/Son relationship (Mama's Not Here), to figuring out how to get my son Howie to fall asleep (Bed Bugs) and attempted murder (Zaydah)...It's all here and it's real.
This isn't typical Freely material. It might be too serious for you. My mom wanted something to relax her for Christmas and this is my gift. I have noted the root inspiration of each song under the song title below. Full stories will follow in the JF blog.
